Day 1 : Visit Source of the nile and transfer to Sipi falls
Our driver guide will pick you at the hotel, start the wild-culture safari. Passing through tea and sugar cane plantations arrive at jinja for the source of the Nile breathe, short boat ride seeing many water birds like; kingfishers, fish eagle, sooty gull, cormorant. After jinja, drive to mbale for lunch and continue to kapchorwa enjoying the scenic landscape evidence of the eastern arm of rift valley. Over night at sipi falls.
Day 2 : Hiking Sipi falls tour
After breakfast, we set off for a hike around the sipi falls with a story telling site guide with a combination of a coffee tour, wonderful hike and interaction with the local community. After, we drive to moroto. A longer journey but rewarding, seeing the karamojong in their settlements and small trading centers. Arrive in the evening, a cultural entertainment can be arranged.
Day 3 : Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Another day in the karamoja region. Early in the morning after breakfast drive to kidepo valley national park through pian upe game reserve where you can see elands, ostrich, even cheetah on a lucky day, then through kotido and kaabong entering kidepo in the afternoon for check in and lunch. An even game drive opens up our eyes to kidepo wildlife like; elephants, buffaloes, zebras, elands, leopards, giraffes, dirk dirks, kudu, reed buck, and on a Vegas day you can spot a cheetah.
Day 4 : Game drive and Cultural visit in Kidepo valley
We will have a morning game drive after breakfast in the north of the park for ostriches, cheetahs and hot springs towards the south Sudan border, birds like secretary are seen this side. Return to the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon visit the Karamojong village for the cultural experience. After join a game search for wildlife, big herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, elands are very active at time. Enjoy the sunset in the wild.
Day 5 : Transfer to Murchison falls National Park
As we check out enjoy another game drive was we get the best memory of kidepo on our eyes, morning hours also good to catch up with what might have been missed in the evening game drive. After breakfast proceed to Murchison falls national park, stopping for hot lunch in gulu town. Arriving at our lodge in early evening, checking in, relaxation, enjoying the sunset, dinner at the lodge.
Day 6 : Boat cruise and Game drive in Murchison falls
Early breakfast or packed in the morning, we set off for a game search; hyenas returning to their dens, elephants, oribi, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kob, leopard, warthogs, waterbuck, bush pigs. Beautiful birds; secretary bird, shoebill stock, goliath heron, saddle billed stork, brown snake eagle, African harrier hawk, black bellied bustard, crown plover, African jacana, just mention but a few. In the afternoon after lunch ago for a boat cruise to the Murchison falls, seeing big Nile crocodiles, big schools of hippopotamus, monitor lizards, water birds like, the African fish eagles, African darters, king fisher’s, common sandpiper, and wild animals drinking water on the water ways. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 7 : Game drive in Murchison fall & transfer to Ziwa
Early morning check out after breakfast. Have a game drive taking details of different wildlife using different tracks, visit the top of the falls as you later proceed out of the park passing through small settlements and villages within the park. Stop for lunch on the way. Entering Ziwa rhino sanctuary in the evening overnight and dinner at the lodge
Day 8 : ZIwa Rhino tracking & Back to Entebbe
In the morning after breakfast and checking out, we drive to the sanctuary reception, where we shall be briefed of the procedures for rhino tracking and later be led by the range guide to rhinos, which might be very active feeding or resting in shades. After tracking we shall set off for Kampala/Entebbe depending on your interest.
